Lawrence Technological University was a great experience for me and I can't even begin to explain how much I learned. From the first day of classes I was learning Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and many other programs. The classes cover almost all of the aspects of architecture from design to theory. Early classes give you a strong foundation to build off of while your final classes test you in various ways to make sure you think of everything while designing.
At Lawrence Technological Univserity I was able to gain a tremendous amount of experience in all programs but also in real world situations. Almost every studio had a client that we were working for that was there for crits and final presentations. This helped because they were able to tell us what they were looking for and it gave us that interaction that we will have in the real world.
I was not only taught about good design but also about the details. I had multiple classes that got into the construction techniques used in buildings and how to draw the details that need to be used in the field. I think Lawrence Tech has provided me with a great education that will help me excel as I grow as an architect.
