Custom Design/Build, Inc. - Whole House Remodel

          This project had just begun as I joined Custom Design/Build.  When I came in on this project they had a lot of the design already figured out but there were still two things that needed work.  The exterior was one of the design issues we still had to complete.  I work on many designs for the exterior and eventually narrowed it down to 3 designs for the clients to look.  After a meeting with them and a little more design we came up with the exterior shown below.  We also had the family room to design.  Working side by side with the exterior and family room I was able to design a new room that was given a lot more natural light by 5 large windows and a skylight.  The plan below shows the family room in more detail with the furniture layout and beam design for the ceiling.  We had a structural beam coming straigh across the room.  By adding faux beams on the sides we were able to create a more dimensional family room.
